I am a highly motivated, efficient and hardworking web developer. Experienced in back-end development and front-end development as well as project life cycles. I also possess plenty of other skills such as providing desktop support.
I learn quickly and I am willing to take the next step to progress my career. Seeking an opportunity in a growing company to focus my efforts.
Managing Director / Web Developer
I successfully run a digital agency, Duality Studio, that specialises in providing bespoke web solutions. To date, we have provided solutions for restaurant bookings, project management SaaS, betting platforms, warehouse management and much more.
Duality Studio takes pride in providing systems that are secure, have positive user experiences and modern look and feels. We have worked with many of our clients for years, some even started working with me before I started Duality Studio.
My responsibilities include delivering websites for a range of clients with different expectations and requirements. Working at Corporate Innovations has allowed me to develop my knowledge of accessibility standards for the web. As well as delivering client websites I maintain the internal content management system and timesheet manager which have both become essential tools for the running of the business.
In 2017, I lead the redesign and redevelopment of the internal MVC framework and CMS. This redevelopment has allowed us to focus more on client projects rather than worrying about internal systems which had become dated. As a part of this new system, I have also implemented and enforced new development processes.
Editor for IT
At SweetFE I produced and edited articles for a website called SweetFE Learning. As a part of this role I wrote a series of articles on how to produce websites from scratch. Also while working for SweetFE I redesigned the website and developed a wordpress plugin to help other editors categorise their posts.
As a part of my education at The Warriner, I took part in work experience at the MOD. Here I designed and produced a tool for MOD testers to use using AutoDesk design software.
While still at school I set up a small gardening business to service local villages near where I lived. I managed my time for roughly 15 clients as well as two people who worked with me.
I was awarded triple distinction* and a commended runner-up for a national award for my work while at the college.
I achieved 6 GCSE's with grades ranging from A-C
